The HitchHiker

The poem hitchhikers is about a woman that drives down the road and sees many hitchhikers wanting to get a ride from her but she doesnt want to help them because she is scared that something might happen to her. She takes this as a symbole of all the failed realtionships that she has in her past and more importantly she blames herself for failing. The berries in the play can symbolize both beauty and pain, because sometimes things can look like they are good but at the same time can be something. I feel like i got the main point of the poem but i may need a little helper getting deeper into it

She Had some Horses

This poems opens up to me about the many types of people their are in the world today and in the past. Its like Joy is trying to explain all the diffrent types of people that were present in the past with all the diffrent types of horses she explains here, she gets many description including horses that deals with nouns and actions that they take. "Some horses called themselves "Spirirt" while other call themselves "horse." This poem can describe the many ways that people are in their diffrent characteristics within them.
